BESAKIH TENGANAN (10 HOURS)

Day tour features the most ancient and important temple of Bali – Besakih located at foothills of the towering Sacred Mount Agung. On the way visit Kertagosa in Klungkung, the justice complex in the pre-colonial times looking afloat on a giant lotus pond. Drive up to the slopes of Mount Agung, the highest peak  on Bali with 3142 meters above sea level. The huge temple located here, Pura Besakih, is the greatest of all Balinese  sanctuaries. In Tenganan you will observe one of few remaining Balinese original communities. The next stop is Goa Lawah famous for being the house of thousands of holy bats hanging in the cave. Then proceed to Kusamba reknown for it’s traditional salt making on black sandy beaches.
